It's now day two of the official lockdown in Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory in Nigeria and Covid-19 cases continues to increase. [CORONAVIRUS_STATES GFX] As at today, it is now 139 cases spread across the six geo-political zones.
In Abuja, the federal capital territory, major roads, airports, and markets were on Tuesday deserted. How residents will fare during this lockdown period is a source of concern due to various level of preparedness by individuals and families.
While critics continue to clamour for welfare of citizens during the 14 days lockdown, officials are keen on ensuring that Nigerians are safe from the ravaging coronavirus.
