Affinity Photo Luminosity Blending the Alternative to Luminosity Masks

In this video, I look at using Affinity Photo Blending ranges as an alternative to Luminosity Masking.

I’m using a technique called double RAW processing to demonstrate the power of Luminosity Blending Ranges. I’ve processed the same RAW file twice to produce a light and dark version. I then use the luminosity value in the two images to blend them with Affinity Photo’s Blending Ranges feature.

Photoshop users can do something similar using Luminosity Masks but in Affinity Photo, it’s much easier and quicker to use Blending Ranges.
