It is being witnessed that the residents of national capital are still not taking the government’s warnings seriously and continuing to engage in spitting and urinating in public spaces. The North Delhi Municipal Corporation caught 33 people spitting and urinating in public places. Similarily, South Delhi Municipal Corporation caught 17 people engaged in the activity and they have been issued on-the-spot fine of Rs 1,000 each as per the new regulations. The East Delhi Municipal Corporation, meanwhile, issued challans to three people.
