Northamptonshire Police chief constable Nick Adderley said his force and many across the UK prepared to arrest and fine people breaking the coronavirus lockdown. Sunbathing and gathering in large groups over the Easter weekend and beyond.
He said: "We've stepped things up here... From today I'm being really clear, if people continue to flout the law that they will be fined and if appropriate they will be arrested."
