Why eating healthy is important now...? JTFoxx Why is it important to change your relationship with food during the Corona pandemic?

Along with risk factors such as age, which is the most significant conductor of patient admissions with coronavirus, obesity has been pointed as another central factor in medical clinic admissions as well. The claim was made by a large study conducted with Doctors at NYU Langone Health center in the USA. In the Netherlands, the chairman of the Dutch intensive care association, Diederik Gommers, said that 66% to 80% of corona patients on intensive care that he had seen are overweight.

Why we need to talk about this?

It is never too late to start changing food habits and our relationship with food. Whether our specific food approach is emotional eating, binge eating, disordered eating, or we can't seem to get a handle on the whole nutrition thing, we can all stand to learn and use this period to revolutionize our relationship with food.

Having a healthy relationship with food takes conscious effort and the best of all: it is possible and more pleasant than you think.
