As schools in the Philippines prepare for reopening of classes under the new normal, the Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations says some private schools are set to impose at least 20% to 30% average reduction in the tuition rates, with some of the school activities suspended due to the pandemic. The group also calls for financial aid from the government, not only for private school students, but for school personnel and teachers as well.
