How to make adjustable ear loops for cloth masks

How to make adjustable ear loops for cloth masks Stretchy cotton jersey - or almost any stretchy fabric - is ideal for ear loops on cloth face masks. It's softer and more comfortable than elastic, as well as being easy to get hold of: just cut up an old pair of leggings or stretchy T-shirt. I use strips about 15 mm (roughly half an inch) wide.

You can also use the simple technique shown in this video to make the loops adjustable.

Suitable for both pleated and shaped masks.
If you prefer loops that go round the back of the head rather than just round the ears then I see no reason why it shouldn't work for those too, as long as the bead is a snug fit.

(Be careful not to iron plastic straws though!)
