I've got a lot of favourite phones that boast a budget cost, with Motorola still proving one of the greatest thanks to its Moto G8 Plus and G8 Power. However, Oppo is proving stiff competition in 2020 with the A9 and Reno 2Z. The Realme 6 and 6 Pro are also strong rivals, with 90Hz displays, strong performance and that fresh Realme UI.
Google will please any camera fans, with the cheap Pixel 3a. It'll probably get even cheaper soon, with the Pixel 4a just set to launch. Meanwhile Samsung proves that you don't need to throw away a grand to enjoy its One UI experience. Sure, the speed and camera tech aren't as strong as others in this review round-up, but the Galaxy A51 is still a respectable choice.
So that's my selection of the best budget smartphones you can bag in Spring for under £300. What are your own favourites?
