Had Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the lockdown would only be last one month and continued to extend the time frame, "the psyche of Australians would have been damaged irreparably" says Adoni Media Managing Director Leisa Goddard. The Daily Telegraph is reporting some restrcitions on businesses and gatherings may be wound back as early as may "with the Berejiklian government eyeing a way forward which help's the state's economy recover".
Ms Goddard told Sky News host Peter Gleeson if the state effectively reopened by May "it would be an amazing result".
