Notice your breath.
Pretend it is the most important thing.
Feel the sensations. Imagine the color. Think the breath-thought.
This is step one and it is step 10,000 of mindfulness, pain control, self-hypnosis.
Try it when you are feeling decent. Remember it when you are stressed. Use it when things get ______.
Make a contract with your birth partner to remind you about this if you forget and ask them to begin by just breathing with you and telling you you are doing great.
